Darritt Crathers joined the City of Bartlett in March 2012. Born and raised in Bartlett, his family has served the community for decades in roles with the city and Bartlett ISD. Darritt leads the maintenance for the city's water and wastewater infrastructure. It's more rare to see him in regular clothes than his city uniform - he is always there when the city needs his help. We're proud and excited to have him on our team!
When any person joins our city staff, we communicate and require a high standard of service to our community through our Core Values. These Values are represented by the RITCH (pronounced "rich") acronym:
Reliable: We Always Answer the Call to Service.
Innovative: New Challenges Require New Ideas.
Teamwork: Faster Alone...but Further Together.
Customer Service: Above and Beyond is the Standard.
Honor: Serving our Community with Integrity.
When a member of our staff provides an outstanding display of these Values consistently throughout the year, we commend their efforts by distinguishing them as the Employee of the Year.
Darritt displayed each of these values when he was fixing a water leak, correcting a sewer problem, keeping the city park safe and clean, and every other duty required for maintaining a city!
