2022 Citizen of the Year - Thadra Vrubel

Council Meeting and Presentation

Thadra Vrubel is the 2022 Citizen of the Year!

Serving on one board or committee is a commitment. Serving on two boards or committees is a serious commitment. Serving on THREE boards or committees is almost a full-time job. Regardless of the time and energy required to serve in these roles, Thadra answered the call of civic duty. She has proven instrumental in bringing the Teinert Memorial Library back to life as a community resource as one of the first volunteers to sign up after being closed for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She dedicated the additional time to help solve the challenges we face at the City Cemetery. Joining the Bartlett Municipal Development District, she has worked with her fellow Board of Directors to identify and complete projects that benefit all members of the community.

When a member of our community provides an outstanding display of citizenship and civic duty throughout the year, we commend their efforts by distinguishing them as the Citizen of the Year.

We are proud and excited to continue working with Thadra as the future for our city is bright!
