Emergency Manhole Replacement - Brook/Cottrell

The City is working on a collapsing manhole at the intersection of W. Brook St. and S. Cottrell.

City crews are currently setting up barricades for road closures and will begin laying out an aboveground wastewater line that will allow for an emergency transfer of wastewater to the manhole on W Brook St. and Bowie St. These traffic control measures will remain throughout the duration of this project until the manhole can be replaced. The City will be working on an emergency contract to hire a contractor to assist with this repair and replacement. There is no estimated duration of project at this time.

Additional road base will be placed on W Brook St leading up to Bowie St to allow for better travel. Please seek other routes as needed.
