City of Bartlett Water Valve Project Update (Last updated March 17th, 2026):

The City of Bartlett will begin major improvements to the control systems of the City’s waterlines. These upgrades are designed to significantly reduce future unscheduled water outages and improve overall system reliability.

The City will continually to provide regular status updates on the state of the project as improvements are progressed.

This project is supported by the Texas Department of Agriculture Community Development Block Grant Program.

The project is expected to end on June 29th, 2026. Updates on the project progress will be published in the City's Alert Page and Facebook Page.

The City has made arrangements to distribute cases of water at City Hall during each scheduled interruption. The City will be distributing water any time during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. throughout the duration of the project.

Non-potable water will be accessible to the public at the Bartlett Volunteer Fire Department, located at 200 W. Clark St., Bartlett, TX 76511. This is a self-fill Station, bring your own water carrier.

We strongly encourage residents to make arrangements in advance and prepare accordingly.
