May 7, 2022 Election - Overview
The City of Bartlett is a Type A - General Law city with an elected governing body consisting of a mayor and five alderman (city council members). The mayor and council members are elected by the citizens and registered voters of Bartlett. The mayor and council terms are 2 years and staggered with elections held in May every year. The Mayor Pro-Tem is elected every year from within the council members themselves and serves a 1-year term.

General Election to elect the Mayor and (3) Council Members for a full two-year term to the Bartlett City Council and Special Election to elect (1) Council Member to the Bartlett City Council to fulfill the remainder of a two-year term set to expire in May 2023.
